Finally, a recommended read!  I picked it up at a John Green book signing last year.  The stories are interwoven tales of teenagers snowed in on xmas day.  I surprised myself with liking the Maureen Johnson tale best (mental note to read more of her work) -- of course, John's story made me laugh at loud multiple times (Chrisafur was there and can confirm my ridiculousness).  I didn't like Lauren Myracle's story so much.  The main character was suppose to be annoying-- I get that that was the point.  However, she was a little too annoying...

Still, all 3 stories are cute and charming, and I really like when characters weave back and forth from one to another.  A fun xmas break read, certainly.

I finally finished this book after weeks and weeks of struggling.  The first few chapters were interesting and enjoyable.  Then it became very clinical-- the majority of the book was transcripts of patient interviews, which I found intensely boring.  The summaries and discussions of patient meetings and interviews were way more my speed. 

I did learn a few things, and like the reflections a lot.  But yeah, I could have used much less clinical and much more pop-science.  Le sigh.
